yesterday and today

So my dumb laptop has issues with this site for some reason. GRRRR. Yesterday I was sick so all I had was a turkey sand which on white with mayo and mustard. Dan also make me a baked potato that was so yummy I all but licked the plate clean.  I had another sandwich for dinner and did sneak a couple of brownie bites, but I took some insulin. I slept until 3:30 so I wasn't tired when it was time for bed. This lead to tossing and turning and finally sleeping. I decided to sleep in until 10:30 and go to work at noon.

I am surprisingly feeling better for doing that. I had a ultimate grilled chicken sandwich from Wendy's along with a crispy chicken sandwich. I only ate a 1/4 of my fries.  I should have just left those out all together.

Tonight is going to be steak w/potato and steamed broccoli, and Tomorrows lunch will be my left over salad. Even though I'm going to the Doctors, I am going to eat my salad here so i won't be spending any money out. (I hope).

It's only Tuesday?

So last nights dinner consisted of Burger King. Yep, I stopped at the home of the Whopper. I went shopping at Wal-Mart for lunch stuff for the rest of the week and ended up not having anything for dinner. (how do I always do that?)

So Whoppers R Us got my business. Dan snuck me a treat of a milk chocolate marshmallow peep. It's the only peep I like.

This morning I was a very good girl. I had cereal, and a cup of OJ.  Lunch was a big happy salad with chicken strips. YUMMY! I did sneak in a peanut butter egg. (Damn you Reese's and Darn you Easter!)

I have a weakness for the Reese's peanut butter eggs.

I also had two string cheese as a snack. Dan wasn't feeling good so he left work early today. I was hoping he would make dinner and have it ready for when I got home. But he says he doesn't feel good enough, and I do not cook steak. (I have never gotten the knack of it).  So dinner tonight will again be fast food, but only because the Window guy is coming at 6:30 and I don't want to be eating in his face. LOL

As a side note. I hate eating salad. I mean I love salad, but it's just like Chinese food. And hour later and I'm hungry again. Hence the two string cheese. I'm going to have to come up with something to go with my Salads for filling. Sigh......

We won't talk about the weekend

So pretty much epic fail for the weekend.  Either I ate too much and ate out, or I didn't eat enough although I ate in.  and I forgot my pills for both days. I was pretty bitchy too. hum......

today I had Mickey D's for breakfast. A sausage, egg, cheese biscuit w/hash browns and orange juice. I have decided that although OJ is high in sugar, I could really use the Vitamin C and really how bad can 8 ounces be? 

For lunch Brandy bought me Wendy's. It was a burger and fries, but since she bought I am not complaining. However we both agreed that we need to eat at work the rest of the week.  I need to remember my cereal and milk along with my salad fixin's and my fruits. need to eat more fruit.

Grossly enough I have been very VERY constipated the last few days. Something is totally off in my diet and I'm not sure what. I have found that fiber pills are kind of expensive and I cannot stand the powder crap, so I need to get some natural stuff in me.  I have no idea what dinner will be tonight, but I gotta think of something. I don't think we took anything out of the freezer. (of course not. that would have been too brilliant! )

I'm posting a bit earlier today.

Last night dinner was at the Texas Roadhouse.  While the rolls were not good for me, and maybe that small dollop of Sour Cream should have been  removed, the steak salad and mash potatoes were delicious!

This morning breakfast was a kudos bar and a stop at Mickey D's.  I got all the way to work when I realized that I completely forgot my cereal. GRRRR.   Lunch was at Arctic Circle. Ranch burger w/fries. I didn't get a courtesy cone, and I only got it medium sized.

Tonight will be chicken of some sort. I told Dan it was his turn. lol.  although I should just make it myself.

Day four of my confessions

Last nights dinner happened with raw carotts, baked chicken, and mashed potatoes. For some reason I could not eat it all. I was having tummy issues. :(

This morning was the chocolate special K cereal and two string cheese. I think I grabbed a kudos bar for on the way, but I was half asleep so I don't remember.....

Lunch was Wendy's.  I had the ultimate grilled chicken sandwhich with Letus, and fries. I know I should have gotten the salad, but I really wanted the fries. I suck at calorie counting and carb counting, but I'm trying to moderate my portions.

I have no idea what dinner will be tonight. Something I have to pull out of the freezer and thaw. I REALLY need to get my act together and plan the meals in advance so i can have stuff ready to go. Eating at 7 or 8 at night is not acceptable. I need to be able to eat as soon as Dan gets home. At least have it ready to go by then. Of course that means that i will have to do most of the cooking that way. I suppose I hate that, but what are you going to do? I'm working more on getting us to eat healthier, but it's going to be a stretch.

Day three and my confessions

I'm a bad girl. Yesterday I stopped on the way home and bought a happy meal. Then I bought a double cheese burger to go with it. I got home and put the chicken in the marinade. I had full intentions to cook it. then Dan called and said he was really craving an Angus burger from McDonald's.

So I had chicken nuggets and fries. *hangs head in shame*

I also had a kudos bar and probably would have had more if I could.

This morning I was better in that I had my bowl of cereal, and two string cheese. Brandy and I went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch, and had salad. I had some cream of potato soup, and I did cheat and have a very small frozen yogurt cone. It was YUMMY!

Tonight will be the chicken. I am going to grab another string cheese on my way out the door to see if I can keep from stopping somewhere. I need to get better about it all.

I have a goal to start next Monday. Again, I will bring salad and eat at work. It's getting too pricey to eat out.

Day two and already I've failed

So this morning I was super hungry. hungrier than I have ever been. After getting ready for work and rushing out the door, I headed straight to Mickey D's. I got the sausage mcgriddle, but not the hash browns. I knew we were doing breakfast here at work today, but I also knew I couldn't wait to eat.

Last nights meal was meatloaf and potatoes.  Unfortunately for me, it wasn't ready when I got home. I ended up snacking on two Reese's peanut butter eggs, and carrots with ranch dip.

This mornings breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, sausage, frozen fruit and a piece of toast.
I was really yummy! and pretty filling, at least until now. I'm starving again! Dinner tonight promises to be marinated chicken with potato and broccoli.  I didn't walk the building either, but I did walk through Kohl's with Brandy and purchased a shirt, socks and a sweet little gift for Andy for his B-day in May.

I did spend some time checking out Gold's Gym and hopefully will get started there soon.
